It has been well over 15 years since our bylaws have been updated, and a good number of things have changed since then.  So we thought we would revise our bylaws to sharpen our stated mission, clarify the process for electing board members, and adopt new technologies (like electronic voting). We will need the approval of the membership. Linked here is a draft that the board has developed, but we are open to hearing your suggestions for enhancements.  Please take a look and let us know if you have any suggestions by sending your comments to sdfa.assist@gmail.com by January 1, 2024.  We plan to send the bylaws out to the membership by email for a vote on January 2nd.
